Proxy Rotation

What is Proxy Rotation?
Proxy rotation is the practice of automatically switching between many IP addresses when making web requests, so that traffic is distributed rather than concentrated on a single origin. A rotating proxy pool assigns a different IP per request or per session, drawn from datacenter, residential, or mobile networks.

Rotation serves two purposes in data collection: it prevents any single IP from exceeding a site's rate limits (which both avoids blocks and reduces load concentration on the target), and it enables geographic sampling — checking how a product is priced from Germany, Turkey, or the United States in one run.

Effective rotation strategies also manage session stickiness (some flows require keeping one IP across several pages), IP health scoring, and automatic retirement of blocked addresses.
