Monthly Executive Summaries provide summary reports on hotel prices, market analysis and strategic pricing at the end of each month. They are prepared to help hotel managers and strategists make the decisions that depend on a month of movement rather than a single day.
What the summary covers
- Hotel prices over the month
- Market analysis for the same period
- Strategic pricing findings for managers and strategists
How to use it
- Open the Executive Reports tab to reach the summary reports.
- Reports are usually provided in PDF format so they can be analysed easily.
What a month shows that a day cannot
Daily rate movement in hotels is mostly noise: inventory shifts, a competitor closing out a date, a short promotion. Over a month those cancel out and what remains is the part worth deciding on — whether the competitive set has repositioned, how the forward-booking curve is filling compared with the same period last year, and whether a pricing strategy is producing the position it was meant to. Those questions are the reason a monthly report usually reaches the people who never open the daily one.
